Because out2thedj is a free music promotion website it allows you to listen to music free, for example you can listen to garage music or house music free, no charge what so ever! We have different music that you can listen to, the website is mainly Garage music and House music base, the website also has different types of urban music but will be expanding to other free urban music aswell as garage and house. The website will also be promoting other music, but garage music and uk house music will be its main front! The advantage of out2thedj.com is that you can listen to music free from free house music, free garage music plus more. Out2thedj.com downloads free music for you to listen to fast, just select the type of free music you want to listen to for example garage music or house music, press select if for example you pressed garage music then select the free garage tune or garage mixed cd you would like to listen to. For example “Auto Ravers” or “97 to 98 underground” the free mixed garage cd or tune will then be downloaded to your screen for you to listen to for free.

Garage music is one of our main baised music types on out2thedj.com aswell as House music. Garage music other known as Old Skool Garage, UKG and Underground Garage was mainly established in the 1990s, with a high level of producers creating big club anthems! Garage music was originally grow from House music other known as US House, Garage music sounded very similar to US House music, but then grew in to its own established style with different types of Garage known as UK G, 4x4 Garage, 2 Step Garage. Garage music grew and grew and eventually and new type of music was starting to grow from Garage music, other known as Grime. Grime also originated from HIphop and Rap, Some people used to class Grime music as Garage, but Grime music has moved and grown to be named as its own style of music and is not classed as Garage as they are two ‘completely different’ types of music! Garage music still to this day is being played mainly by underground DJs and a few commercial DJs. Due to House not many producers are making Garage music anymore as they have moved on creating House for sales reason, in the last couple of years recently, brand new producers have been growing, some new producers are working hard to make sure they get the old skool sounds back. Some people class this as new skool garage. It is not just new up and coming music producers that have been making Garage, some old Garage producers have recently been creating new Garage tunes and some of them never stopped making Garage, Garage music now cannot be marketed as it used to, most Old Skool Garage music used to be cut on to vinyl and then distributed to shops for DJs to play on radio or clubs, due to movement of times Garage music would be pushing more using new technology such as selling the music on download websites, Burning CD & distribution plus a vinyl cut.
Club scenes over the years for Garage music have changed, once Garage music and US House was hitting nearly every bar and night club. Due to changes in time and the growth of house music a lot of them refuse Garage music, this does not mean Garage Clubbing is dead, just restricted and worked around. There are still some massive events that still play Old Skool Garage and some New Skool Garage like Back to 95, Garage Nation, Bubbling, Garage Heaven, Zodiac. Veteran Old Skool, Dance all night plus many more. Recently garage music is re-growing and still known as the music everyone loves! For some people Garage music is a reminder of the good old days!
